This course involved reading and studying the paper written by 2004 AISC T.R. Higgins Award Winner Lawrence A. Kloiber entitled "Orthogonal and Skewed Shear Connections Design and Detailing Requirements." The student was required to pass an examination with a score of 70% or above testing his/her knowledge of the basic design requirements for orthogonal and skewed shear connections. Upon completion of the seminar, the student has learned basic connection design requirements for orthogonal and skewed shear connections.
You will then be given the opportunity to review the document. Once you have studied the document and are confident you know the material, you will be given 20 multiple-choice questions related to the document that you just studied.
If you successfully answer 70 % of the questions correctly, you will be taken to a web page where you can download your CEU/PDH certificate.
